A very good book for events before and after the American Revolutionary War but barely explains any of the battles and much of what war at the time was like. Also she tends to express her own view than state the facts. If you like the political side of the war including before and after I would recommend this book. But absolutely do not get it to look for battles and generals. Generally a good book but I suggest that the reader looks at other books too about this time period to get a better and more balanced picture of the amazing events that took place.
