I was really inspired by reading this detailed account from director Russ Pond. Producing and directing his first feature film, Fissure, he recalls, step by step, what he did and how he did. I found it an honest and educational read. There's really so much in the book that it's hard to describe here. Things like casting, script acquiring and development, what happens on set and on location, how to get other professionals involved, how to find financing and investors.
