    Spiritual, sensual, liberating!

'Ms. Patton pens an incredible story of 'true' love as she casts brilliant light on the spirit over the mind in her debut novel, 'From Faythe to Ever-Increasing Faith.' Faythe Alexander's journey is one that most women can only hope to take. She is a very successful, highly educated, beautiful Black woman who often times underestimates the power she has within. She learns to face her fears, and presses her way on to become the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for a Fortune Five-Hundred Corporation, in the City of Chicago. But, it is only when she truly considers the price, which had been paid in full for all she'd become, that she is moved beyond her own inferior self-image, and into a glorious love affair with The Almighty! The 'Source' before and behind Faythe's triumphs and defeats ignite her spirit in a powerful way, and leads her to encounter heaven right here on earth! Faythe Alexander is truly the sistah girlfriend every woman would love to have in her life!

    What a shocker!

'I received the very thing I did not expect, the story of Faythe Alexander, a flawed black woman, who rose from a humble background and soared to corporate heights. Through her intimate relationship with God, Faythe was able to achieve exactly what the book focuses on, and that is, ever-increasing faith. Her personal walk with God clearly demonstrates that He is true to His word. The novel treats the reader to a romantic experience like no other. The love between David Karlson and Faythe Alexander takes the heart and soul to new levels of conscieousness. The reader falls victim to a love everyone aspires to have--spiritual, soulful, and sensual. Sit back for the ride of your life! Just when you think the story can't get any better, you're introduced to Thaddeus Geissler, an amazing character, who is dearly loved by and devoted to Faythe. What comes out of Faythe's and Thaddeus' friendship will remain in the reader's heart long after the story has ended. Ms. Patton's debut novel far exceeds expectations in writing style and ability. One might assume the author is a seasoned novelist by the remarkable way in which she draws the reader into the story and the character's lives.'

    Could not put it down!

WARNING: Before you read this book, please insure that you have a warm fire burning in your fireplace, cup of coffee or cocoa at the side of your most comfortable easy chair, and that you are able to treat yourself to a quiet, uninterrupted afternoon, because this book is such that once you begin it you will not be able to put it down! Ms. Patton develops the characters and storylines of their lives in such a way, that you find yourself identifying with their struggles, fears, and triumps and you feel like she is writing about your life or someone who you know. I really loved the ending of the book which I hope Ms. Patton will pick up the ending and write the sequel that follows the lives of all the characters. The moral of the story is how the character Faythe used her friendship and her personal convictions to minister the unconditonal love of Christ to her friends. She did not walk in judgment of others, but looked in the mirror of her own life, judging her own mistakes, and made decisions that put her faith in action that moved her to new levels of faith and phenomenal blessings. She was able to draw people to the Lord by her own example and this I believe is the most effective way we all need to minister to others about the salvation of the Lord! I strongly recommend Ms. Patton's debut book and like me you will eagerly await her sequels and future novels.

Mohr Reviews 'From Faythe to Ever-Increasing Faith'

Being real is one of the many things I liked about 'From Faythe to Ever-Increasing Faith' by first time author Donna L. Patton, and the character that has the title role in her novel, Faythe Alexander. Ms. Patton has created a young successful attractive African/American woman to be the star and strong role model in this highly compelling story, and with her, a world that is one where people make mistakes, and learn. People grieve and go on, people love, and know heartache, yet love again. And people believe-they believe in a greater power; a God that is real, and alive, and helps you get through the struggles of existence, always there to guide and support. It is obvious from the way that Ms. Patton uses her gift of writing to minister, that she is a firm believer in the Lord, and walks with him on a constant basis. Don't get me wrong, this is not a book that preaches, but instead shares within the confines of a richly developed story one of love lost and found; of friendships renewed and reinterpreted, and the vastness and abounding love of a Savior for one of his creations, and the return of that love. Is it a romance novel you might ask? Well, yes, and could easily fit on the shelves of any secular bookstore in the romance section. However, it is far more. Is it a Christian book? Well, again, it could go next to any book at a religious bookstore with pride, but to pigeonhole it into any narrow confine does an injustice to the writing skills that Ms. Patton displays. From Faythe to Ever-Increasing Faith is a rare find; a book that ministers to the needs of the reader without hitting them over the head, yet never once compromising the message for the sake of the story. I would say that Ms. Patton should be proud of what she wrote, but I think her answer would be she didn't write it alone, she had help from someone 'higher up'. And I think she would be right.

    AN AWESOME READ

If you enjoy a love story, cry over broken hearts and rejoice in love renewed, this book is for you. This is a really great find. The author weaves a great tale that keeps you wanting more and more. From start to finish, the author keeps you interested in the characters. This book is easy reading, a simple love story. The characters are well developed and interesting. The author writes with control and certainty. The dialogue is very realistic, with many memorable passages. The author does a great job of expressing the Christian morals of the main character, Faythe, and does not compromise her on spirituality to attract secular readers. Is this a book for Christians only? NO! This is a REAL story about REAL people who have REAL issues that all can easily identify with. Readers will be reluctant to part with the story when it concludes. I highly recommend this book and look forward to the author¿s sequels.
