From Giacomo's Kitchen: Celebrate Life by Bringing Something Good to the Table

I actually am a colleague of the author and have experienced his cooking on serveral ocassions. The dishes I have experienced from the cookbook are truly delicious and easy to prepare. He makes it easy by including recommended items which are essential to the recipes. It has made it harder to go out for Italian food because many of the recipes are unique and not time consuming or expensive to prepare. I also found the stories injected throughout the book to be enjoyable and adds to the romance of celebrating food.

Giacomo's stories set the mood for an authentic Italian meal. Recipes are simple, but impressive to dinner guests. This bok would make a wonderful gift for anyone who loves he kitchen. The wine and pantry sections are helpful and imformative . I like the book so much I have purchased several copies to give as gifts.

From Giacomo's Kitchen: Celebrate Life by Bringing Something Good to the Table

Finally a cookbook which has authentic food which is easy to prepare. The author paints a wonderful picture through his stories of growing up in an Italian American family as well as his adventures in Italy. The pantry portion of the book was worth the price of the book.
