A rambling story about Mike with points at the end of each chapter to consider. Talks about going to college to be a minister, becomes a DJ, plays music, meets his wife, gets married and eventually is Lt. Gov. then Gov. of Arkansas.

'from hope to higher ground' is a exellent book by governor mike huckabee. it is the first candidate who is running for president who has put out a vision for america in his best seller. most of the other candidates publications will tell you what they have done or about someone else but never what they are going to do. this real fast page turner outlines 12 steps to restoring america to greatness.I was espically intrested in his bringing more american jobs back but I was also intrested how he wants to stop the abuse of our tax system and most of all he shows the voter how to make a difference in their community. great gift idea for a friend family member or soldier seving over seas.
