    very inspirational

as a recovering alcoholic myself I try and read as many books as possible on other peoples struggle in their addictions . I thought this book was very well written and the honesty was enlightening . We all have very similar situations and problems that we have to deal with in life . It is always wonderful to know , we are not alone and there is hope ... I found this book to give me more strength and will to fight this battle of addiction and to reach out and help others ..... Thank you John Michael for your inspiration and your story of encouragement ....

    A reviewer

To read 'From Junk to Jesus' is to attempt to understand the desperation of drug and alcohol addiction that is more than likely affecting someone close to us. It could be a member of the family, a family friend or a friend of a friend that is in the grips of addiction right now. Reading Weber's brutally honest book about his life is to realize the devastating effects of addiction...yet to know that there is good news at the 'bottom' of the desperation. Weber realized that God had a special love and significance for him personally, the same way that all of us need to do. This book was a totally inspiring 'read', one that gives hope to the awful-ness and insanity of substance abuse!
