He is the author of Exploring World Englishes: Language in a global context, and The Idea of English in Japan: Ideology and the evolution of a global language, and editor of English in the World: History, diversity, change.
Bill Greenwell is Lecturer in Creative Writing at The Open University, UK. He is co-author of A Creative Writing Handbook: Developing dramatic technique, individual style and voice (Bloomsbury Publishing). His poetry and parodies have appeared in fifty anthologies, and his collection Impossible Objects was shortlisted for the Forward Prize best first collection in 2006.
