American Diplomacy - John Handley
This book is certainly most useful to the first-time visitor to Russia and could be equally useful to anyone, businessperson or diplomat, negotiating with Russians. Yale describes at some length the similarities and the differences between Russians and Americans.

    Very Informative and Interesting

Wow, I can say that this book is very very useful in trying to better understand Russian culture. Through search engines I was able to learn some facts here and there about Russian culture, but nothing as comprehensive as this book comes up. You can be sure that this author, former diplomat in Russia focusing on culture, knows what he is talking about. Couldn't put this down!
