Editorial Reviews

From Barnes & Noble

Reflecting on her two past pregnancies, the author of this book writes, "I wish I remembered more." For Geralyn Broder Murray, that wish, shared by most mothers, didn't end in regret: "This book exists so that one day, when you have a few precious spare moments, you can look back at your hopes and plans for your child before they were tethered to an actual person, when it wall all only possibility." With its gentle watercolor illustrations and apt prompts, this pregnancy journal invites women to remember much more than the onset of morning sickness.

From the Publisher
"Beautifully illustrated ... The perfect place for all the important memories and great to keep for posterity." - Life on Mantoulin

"A fun way for you to chronicle your pregnancy" - Fit Pregnancy

"An illustrated pregnancy journal that's a great option for mamas-to-be who are a little short on time or writing inspiration" - The Spokesmama

Why From Pea to Pumpkin Was Born

This is what I remember from ten years ago, when I was pregnant with my daughter: I craved fruit and was ill every day from week six to week ten. With my son, seven years ago, I remember that I was never ill, but instead simply bone tired, my patience short and my stomach enormous.

I know that with each of them, I was scared and elated, both.
I wish I remembered more.

That is why I created this little book. For you: so that you will have something to help you record all the little moments—and big moments—over these next nine (ten?) months. So you will have the chance to write down what you want for your child before you meet him or her, before their wonderful inclinations shape your expectations and modify your dreams with reality. This book exists so that one day, when you have a few precious spare moments, you can look back at your hopes and plans for your child before they were tethered to an actual person, when it was all only possibility.
