    great book about a fascinating subject

    I'm life long gamer and loved this book. A provocative look at how the history of gaming has been linked to war -- how games were invented during wartime, how they're being used now by the military, and how our current state of war is influencing the games we play. Stuff I never knew about presented in an intelligent but not stuffy manner, and yet I dont think you have to be a hardcore gamer to 'get' it either. Lots to think about here!
