From The Potter's Hand

Overview

My heart is to share my journey from a life of brokenness to one of restoration and freedom. The Lord, who is the Potter, alone deserves the praise for the transformation that continues to take place in my life. People sometimes say to me after I've shared my experiences that they would love to have my testimony. And I think, really? Overview

My heart is to share my journey from a life of brokenness to one of restoration and freedom. The Lord, who is the Potter, alone deserves the praise for the transformation that continues to take place in my life. People sometimes say to me after I've shared my experiences that they would love to have my testimony. And I think, really? To have my testimony, I first had to survive unspeakable cruelty; things that no one would ever want to have happen to them. For the longest time I was a mess, physically, emotionally, and spiritually, and I believed that my life was a grave disappointment to God. The real miracle is that God chose to redeem my life and turn it around to bless Him and others. And He can and will do this for everyone who calls out to Him and receives Him. I want this book to glorify God alone; that He will be seen through my transparency and be lifted up. With people coming to Him as a result, everything that has happened in my life is worth the cost.
Elizabeth Chapman is an immigrant from Communist Hungary who gave the ashes of her life to Jesus when she accepted Him as Lord and Savior in March of 1975. Married to her husband Erick for forty years, they have three grown children, and four grandchildren. Elizabeth is a prayer warrior, is missions minded, loves to sing for the Lord, and has a heart for women who are hurting. She has a Master's Degree in family counseling, has studied martial arts and street self-defense for eighteen years, and is a third-degree black belt. She teaches Women's Self-Defense, speaks to women's groups, and wants only to share the love of Jesus wherever God opens a door.
