Big disappointment

As a huge Nora Roberts fan, this was a big let down. The interactions of the main characters left me aggravated and at times lost. In defense, this book was written in the early 80's when the man/woman relationship was portrayed differently than it is now.

    Chord's Dress and Such

The dress itself is (naturally) a rich ivory color with a simple heart neckline. There's no cinching at the waist, or any petticoats, just a simple flow that transitions into the medium length train. Attached to the base dress is lace that covers her chest and arms to the base of her neck. If you were to look at the lace closely, you would see that is intricate Gallifreyan lettering. Words, phrases, and poems, love songs. The back dips down from the neckline, but the skin there is also covered in lace.
Hair and makeup are fairly simple, light neutral colors and minimal mascara and eyeliner. Her hair is done in a simple braided crown (or 'halo') with a small bronze comb inserted in the back, barely visible.
The bouquet is an assortment of strange Gallifreyan flowers, with a few plumes of red grass here and there.
