    The best one out there

I have 4 books in my closet that are specifically about selling cars. This was the best one. It goes into great detail and isn't the same, recycled garbage as the others. It's very detailed and informative.

    Excellent book!!!

I have been in sales the better part of my life and I have over 50 sales and 'people skills' books in my personal library. I do not sell cars, but was entertaining the idea of doing so. (I am currently selling Life Insurance) I bought this book last week and have read it twice already. All I can say is you have got to get this book,it is by far the best book I own on sales. You don't have to sell cars to learn a great deal about sales from this book. And if you do sell cars, then you definetely have to get your hands on a copy of this one.

    A whole different Animal

I have been in the sales industry for twenty years and have read many books on the subject. I recently began selling cars and thought that I needed a little more info about the car business and its inner workings. When I got this book I was not sure what to expect but the reviews were good so I eagerly anticipated its arrival. Much to my delight this book took me from A to Z regarding the process of selling cars and surprised me when I found many other valuable lessons that would have been relevant to my past selling ventures. If this were a novel it would be a real page turner. I couldn't wait to read what the author had to say next. I hope that this is not the last book we see from Mr. Knott.

    Super Book About Selling Cars

I have been looking for a car sales book and this is it. This is not just another book about selling cars. This is definitely the best book about car sales that i have every read. Mr. Knott definitely set the standard for all other books on the subject to be judged by. Highly recommend. If you are selling cars and you don't own this book you are already at a disadvantage. There is no magic formula contained within it just good old common sense car selling knowledge. Again I Highly recommend this book for car salesman

    Must have it

I am a salesman. Look for this book in many stores and I have to order on line. It was worth it. I enjoyed every page and even I already practice some of the advises Mr Knott gave on the book, I still read them over and over. Now if you are really on the car business, do not hesitate to buy or get it, and as the author says, practice, practice.

This book started out a little slow as the author was laying the ground work but once I got past the second chapter it really took off. I could feel my excitement building as I read each word. It actually helped renew my enthusiasm for car sales. After all things have been a little tough lately and I figured I needed something to help me recharge and this book did just that. I now feel full of energy and I have a renewed vigor for selling cars. This is the best car sales book I have read since I first got in the business and read Joe Girard's book.

    This Book ROCKS!

I don't normally write reviews for things but I have been buying and reading books about sales for years and this book actually motivated me to voive my opinion about it. IT ROCKS! I have bought and read many books about selling and selling cars and this is the first one that I insisted that all 23 of my salespeople purchase. I have been looking for one source to reference with all of my salespeople and now I have found it. My guys know that they need to have From Zero to Hero with them (or in their desk) at all times. It is our 'Sales Bible' here at SouthPoint Chevrolet. Besides being required reading for all salespeople in my store I also use it for motivational Ideas for my sales meetings. Like I said before this book rocks and I am rarely impressed by anything enough to spend the time writing a review about it. Highly recommend

    Great book

This is a great book. It definitely lives up to its title. I just started in the car business and had no idea what I was doing. After reading From Zero to Hero I had a great understanding of the process of selling a car and I felt empowered to conquer the car selling world. Now as one of the best car salesman my dealership has I still read this book when I have some 'down time'. Get the book! You won't regret it.

    Highly Recommend Two Thumbs Up!

It is hard to believe that it has taken someone this long to write a book with as much up to date and concise information regarding the process of selling cars that addresses selling issues in this millenium. This book is what Joe Girard's book was to the car sales industry in the seventies except it is concise a relavent to today's selling environment. Two Thumbs up. I Highly Recommend it to anyone in or getting in to the car business.

    A Complete Resource

I haven't been able to find a book as good as this one on the subject of selling cars since I started in the business a year ago. Luckily I ran across this book at a local Barnes and Noble and figured it was worth a read. Well my hunch was not only right, I was amazed at the information this book provided. I was astonished. After reading it I felt like I had ten years of experience selling cars and was better informed, more confident and more successful with every customer I waited on. This book is well worth the money I spent on it and I Highly recommend it to anyone in the car business.

After reading this book I can understand why it received so many awards. I would have to recommend it to anyone looking for information on how to sell cars or how to become more successful at car sales. Mr. Knott¿s writing makes the reading interesting and addresses the subjects in a manner that easily translates into useful knowledge in the day-to-day practice of selling cars. Different from other books that tell you that you need to be enthusiastic and that you need to have a good attitude, which I would think any salesperson would already know this author helps you examine what factors influence your attitude and your enthusiasm and how that can affect your performance. He teaches you the way to manage yourself to become a better salesperson. If you are interested in car sales this book is a must read.

From Zero to Hero / says it all

This is a great title for this book. The book is great from someone who knows zero about the car business and provides them with all of the tools they need to become a hero on the sales floor. I would highly recommend it to anyone new to the car business and to anyone looking to expand the knowledge they already have. I have been in the business since the 80's and I even found a few things I hadn't thought of before.

Recommend for salespeople in the car business

I would recommend this book for anyone involved in the car business. I was a mortgage broker and started selling cars about two years ago. I thought I had learned everything about the car business. Little did I realize I have just been learning the same basic information over and over again. This book actually helped take me to the next level. It opened my eyes to some new selling techniques that are helpful to me with every customer I wait on. I only bought the book 3 weeks ago and I can think of three deals that the information in this book has helped me with. I especially like the information regarding the verbage of contending with a customer trade in. Excellent stuff. I would give this book five stars but I don't think anything is perfect. However as far as books go on selling cars this is the best I have read. I would have to recommend it.

Wow! This is spammed all the way!

I read the reviews. I bought the book. A basic outline of what one person thinks about the selling process. I recall a page I read (word for word) about identifying Wants and Needs and I went to my past resources to find it again. It is in my Joe Verde stuff.. First, learn to write.. second, write YOUR OWN STUFF, 3) stop spamming this book.. it's not what I'd consider a professional book.

Only buy this book if you want your sales staff to make more money. I bought a copy for a boring airplane ride and read the book, front to back, without putting it down. When I returned from my trip I purchased 6 more books for each of my salespeople. The other sales training books I've read are dated and don't relate to today's market. This book reads like it was written yesterday. I highly recommend this book to any salespeople or sales managers regardless of their level of experience.

This is whats it all about!!

I have been in this business for over 15 years and this is the first book that really show you how to make it happen. This book not only has the 'green-pea' in mind but also gives the 'old heads' a look into this century selling. over the years I have read countless books trying to keep my edege but more times than not walk away thinking 'my kids could have written a better book.' Mr. Knott makes understanding the buyers motives as well as your goal for the sale easy and concise. I recommend this book to anyone who want a edge on selling right out of the gate. The title really does say it all 'From Zero to Hero'.

    Incredible Car Sales Book

After reading some of the other books out there about selling cars I really didn't expect much. Afterall I had been let down before. But I was incredibly suprised that this book actually is everything the description hypes it up to be. Up until I found this book the best information I could find was in just normal sales books, not ones relating to the car business and even though they are great I still searched for one that address us out here selling cars. Mike Radovich's book, 'What you need to Succeed, making car sales a career rather than a job.' was a good book but I needed a little more than it had to offer. This book picks up where Mike's left off. Finally I found the book that answers almost all of the questions I ever had and I recommend it to anyone in the car business. You won't regret it.
