Meet the Author

Donald Strachan is a London- and Italy-based writer, editor, and journalist. He has written about Italian travel for publications worldwide, including The Times, Sunday Telegraph, and Sydney Morning Herald, among others. His recent Frommer’s Tuscany & Umbria with Your Family was judged Best Guidebook at the 2008 ENIT Travel Writing Awards. He is also co-author of Frommer’s The Balearics with Your Family (2007).

My friend will be going to the Tuscany area of Italy on vacation and she loved the book I gave her as part of a birthday gift.
