Meet the Author
Lesley Abravanel is a freelance journalist and a graduate of the University of Miami School of Communication. When she isn't combing South Florida for the latest hotels, restaurants, and attractions, she is on the lookout for vacationing celebrities, about whom she writes in her weekly nightlife and gossip column, "Velvet Underground," for both the Miami Herald and its weekly entertainment newspaper, Street. She is also a contributor to Star Magazine and is the Miami correspondent for Black Book Magazine.
Jim and Cynthia Tunstall are native Floridians who were born and raised in the Tampa Bay area. They have spent much of their lives traveling the state, including plenty of time waiting in Walt Disney World lines since the original park, Magic Kingdom, opened in 1971. Their many insider experiences in central and north Florida allow them to separate the good from the bad and the ugly.
