    Great guide for New York City (Frommer guides are the best anyway!)

    This is a great book especially for first timers to NYC. Gives great suggestions for any length of time in the city. If only going for a weekend or a day, this book is THE one to have. A great map system is included (as always in the Frommer guides).

    Guiding you to fun

    This guide became quite handy on my trip to New York City. The guide is broken down for an easier understanding of what the city has to offer. I got around easier with the two maps that are included and have a very good idea of what to expect when I landed thanks to the book. My friends and I have fun exploring the different sites that were suggested and I liked that it had ratings and prices for most of the places. The best thing for me was reading the section called Literary Gotham for book lovers and read about the Stand "18 miles" of cheap books. This book has something for everyone and it will guide you to it.

    Quick Guide to New York City

    This small guide to visiting New York City is packed with pertinent information regarding every aspect of enjoying the Big Apple. It includes listings on tours, museums, walks, shopping, dining, shows, entertainment, and hotels. There are several detailed, easy to follow maps on the entire island and specific neighborhoods. Best of each category lists abound with addresses and phone numbers. Full color photos enhance the descriptions and help with choices. Good advice is included regarding what to do before arriving in the city, such as necessary events' reservations for tours, clubs and shows. It's small size makes it handy to keep with you while seeing the city and making on the spot decisions and reservations.

    Great Resource when Visiting NYC!

    We used this book to guide us through NYC - I especially loved the "Neighborhood Walks" section because we could just spend a day walking around one area and see & do so many things. This book makes seeing NYC easy easy easy.
