    Frommer's Guide to Savannah, Georgia

I bought this book in preparation for a 3 day trip to Savannah this March. It gave us very good direction, tips and even a plan for a 3 day trip so we would be able to see the top sights. We took the recommended trolley and ghost tours and found them delightful. The guides for these recommended tours were personable and very well informed. We used the restaurants recommended in the book and all of them were excellent. The information was up to date. We did exactly what the book told to at Paula Deen's restaurant, which is to go to the restaurant in the morning and make the reservation for that night. Had we not known that, we would have tried to call. We got there at 11:00 and actually were able to eat at 11:30 for lunch. I would recommend Paula Deen's for lunch if you want to sample her buffet, but if you want something a little fancier you need to go for dinner.

This book was all I needed for this trip. It also has good, readable maps. I highly recommend it.

Excellent information from a small, easy to use book. It was very helpful to read before we arrived in Savannah as background and then to use during out stay.

I would definitely recommend this book.
