She’s reported and edited at newspapers and magazines in Florida and the Pacific Northwest, and written a variety of travel articles and guides. We found this book comprehensive and easy to peruse because it had Seattle favorites as well as what to do for a 1, 2, or 3 day stay in Seattle. It also had walking tours through each neighborhood. Best of all, the book is small and easy to carry.
Seattle Day by Day is a great pocket reference for a quick weekend visit to Seattle. The book has great ideas for what to do and divides the suggestions into different topics of interest. Some details could be a little more complete. I would recommend this book for anyone looking for an easy reference to carry around - small size is great and included map is helpful. Be aware that some additional information may need to be found along the way.
