Well-crafted story, attention to detail and a mystery with a surprising twist at the end kept me reading until the end. The heroine is vulnerable but strong enough to take matters into her own hands. The hero has a not-so-squeaky-clean past that makes him perfect for the romance novel genre.
L.K. Campbell's newspaper background is evident in this book that takes place in and around two newspapers, one a small town, family-owned paper and the other a larger, regional paper.
