Meet the Author

L.K. Campbell started her writing career as a newspaper columnist for her hometown daily newspaper where she worked from 1986-2007. When she began writing fiction she wrote in the romance genre, because that was what she enjoyed reading. In 2000, she became the newspaper's composition supervisor. In 2007, she left the newspaper business behind and now does e-book formatting on a freelance basis for “indie” authors and for two publishers. She and her husband still live in their hometown, because they both enjoy the pace of small town living.

Well-crafted story, attention to detail and a mystery with a surprising twist at the end kept me reading until the end. The heroine is vulnerable but strong enough to take matters into her own hands. The hero has a not-so-squeaky-clean past that makes him perfect for the romance novel genre. L.K. Campbell's newspaper background is evident in this book that takes place in and around two newspapers, one a small town, family-owned paper and the other a larger, regional paper.

Ok story. I found the serial boss dater/marrier, Jess, to be very irritating.
