This was one of the best, so far, in the series! A grim reaper (Death) gets it on with a siren. Haven't read anything with Siren's before so that was pretty cool.

A good short 89pg read for .99 cents. The author was creative with these characters and how they clicked in one night. After reading the 1st free book (which was completely unimaginative and left more questions than answers) I almost gave up on this author.

    The Hidden Prophecy-Prologue

Tigertail raced up the steep hill as he found himself being chased by a hidden enemy. Tigertail got to the top, but it was not over yet. The enemy moved as fast as lightning to get to the warrior. The enemy got to the same place as Tigertail was and knocked him over, pinning him down with one gigantic claw. "You think you can run away from me?" The enemy snarled and dug his claws deep in Tigertail's fur. "Why do you have to invade our camp? You destroyed it!" Tigertail snapped. "Tell me why your camp has to destroy ours?!" The enemy growled. "You were there too, you almost killed me. I still have nightmares about it, but it will all end once I kill you." Tigertail gasped in pain as the enemy's claws goes to his throat. "I will also kill your mate too!" The enemy added. Tigertail's amber eyes grew wide. "No, not Bluedust!" He screeched. Tigertail unsheathed his hind claws and pushed it on the enemy's belly. "You better not hurt her!" Tigertail warned. The enemy smirked. "You may never know what might happen to her now." He smirked and ripped through Tigertail's throat. --------------------- Blue dust fell down to the ground and breathe heavlily. "Help!" She screamed. A dark gray tom with yellow eyes padded next to her. "You'll be fine." He calmed Bluedust down. "Where's my mate, Tigertail?" She gasped. "I don't know. Why?" The tom asked her. Bluedust let out a gasp and screamed, "the kits are coming!" The tom jumped. "Now? In a battle of our clan?!" He asked. "They can't wait for the battle to be over, Swiftstripe!" Bluedust guessed loudly. Swiftstripe, the tom, grabbed a strong stick and hand it to Bluedust. "Put this in your mouth. Bite it when you feel pain." Swiftstripe instructed Bluedust and she grabbed the stick by her mouth. "How many kits are coming?" Swiftstri asked Bluedust curiously. "Five kits." Bluedust predicted and groaned in pain. The first kit is about to be born! Swiftstripe took a few steps back from the light gray queen. The first kit slid out. It was jet-black with white stripes across his face. Swiftstripe licked it clean and placed it next to Bluedust's belly. Bluedust bites down on the stick again as the second kit slid out. It was a dark gray she-kit with black stripes on her legs. Swiftstripe placed her next to the first kit as Bluedust works on the third one. It was a light gray tom with little darker flecks around him. Swiftstripe looks at Bluedust. "You have two kits left, Bluedust. Almost done." He soothed her but it didn't work. The fourth kit came out moments later. It was a white tortoiseshell she-kit with black paws. The last one is about to come out. "You can do it Bluedust. One more and you are done." Swiftstripe encourage her. Bluedust bit down on the stick as hard as she could as the last kit came out. It was pure white, as white as snow. "What are their names?" Swiftstripe asked. Bluedust looked at all the kits. "I'll name this one Blackkit." Her tail pointed to the first newborn kit. "And that one Ravenkit." She pointed to the light gray tom. "And that one Cinderkit." She pointed to the dark gray she-kit. "That one Frostkit." She was talking about the tortoiseshell kit. "And finally Onekit." She pointed to the pure-white tom. "They are great names." Swiftstripe meowed. "Kits that have been born on a day like this in a forest are destined to be great warriors..." Author's note: Part one coming soon. It will be in Onekit's point of view now...
