    I Also Recommend:

    Okay

While it has its comedic moments, this volume was okay. Just okay. Still like the series.

    more from this reviewer

    Good but lacking resonance

This volume doesn't break any boundaries or take any chances; it simply maintains the status quo of the series' quality. Granted, the first chapter opens with explosiveness and the chapters with Ritsu are good for a couple of laughs, but the second half seemed to consist largely of characters subjecting themselves to self-psychoanalysis, something I've already seen a dozen times before in the series. In short, I believe anyone who buys it will have a similar experience as me: read it, enjoy it, and a month later, barely be able to remember what happened in it.

The Best Book You have ever bought!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This Book was my altime favorite!!! That might just be because Haru is my favorite charactor. Ritzu san was soooooo funny! My mom bought it for a christmas present but i bugged her so much that she let my read it like 2 months early. But let me tell you i still could't wait to unwrap it!

    Unbelievable!

Fruits Basket is amazing! My friend learned about it from someone else and kept talking about how she needed to see it. I didn't think it sounded very good. Later I went to the store and found two Fruits Basket DVDs. I knew my mom would never buy her both, so I asked if we could each have one. I promised my friend if I didn't like it, she could have the second DVD. But she never got that DVD. The eighth book was the best of all of them. I probably think that because my favorite character is Haru. Haru is the character on the front of the book.

This series cannot be beat! (really, it can't)

I fell in love with Fruits Basket at the first page! My parents told me i wouldn't like it, but i kept asking. When I was done with the first volume, I was hooked, and i mean hooked. I read through each volume so fast, my mom had to hide them! That's how good fruits Basket is, especially this volume. This vol. stirs up A LOT of questions about what's really going on with the Sohma Clan. I'm waiting for the 12th vol. and some of those questions haven't even been answered yet! If u want real, meaningful, loving , and funny anime, GET THIS BOOK RiGHT NOW! THE WHOLE SERIES! I MEAN IT! If u don't like it, you have a serious problem, i mean a SERIOUS problem. This manga is the best, and the anime is awesome!

    HA HA HA HA!!!

Volume 8 was HILARIOUS!!! I'm still laughing and I finished it about 20 minutes ago! I loved the part where they were in the haunted house! Yuki and Kyo crack me up! sigh... They're both hopeless. When is Yuki going to finally call Tohru by her first name? Do it already, Yuki!

If You Haven't Read This Yet, You Must!

Fruits Basket fans will not be disappointed, number 8 delivers! We learn some details about Haru (who is most definately a favorite!) and are introduced to a new member of the Zodiac. I won't ruin it for you, but just know that you'll love 'em! The art work in this is, as usual, excellent. Enjoy!
