Overview

A series of gruesome murders leads an Indianapolis cop and a university professor to the doorstep of P.I. Chase Dagger. They have a theory behind the killings. Sergeant Marty Flynn has been tracking the suspect since March 13, 1998. Professor William Sherlock has been researching the killers for far longer. The professor believes the killings only occur prior to and during a full moon on a Friday the 13th. He believes the evil is passed on from generation to generation. Dagger feels the professor knows far too much about the suspect and the murders. When the two men ask, "Have you ever heard of a shapeshifter?", Dagger is forced to reexamine their theory. After all, Sara, his partner, is a shapeshifter. Sara has never known any other shapeshifters. And she doesn't believe something this evil could exist...until it starts communicating with her. FULL MOON-BLOODY MOON combines mystery with an element of horror. Lee Driver is a master storyteller. You will never look at another full moon on a Friday the 13th the same way. Book 2 in the series.

    Hmm hmm

I really enjoyed this book. It was a little sci fi ish but I enjoyed the characters and I felt the writing was good. It was worth the money, there was a book before this one (the good die twice). That one was just as enjoyable and not sci fi ish. Try it.

    Chase and Sara are back!

The fire Driver started in THE GOOD DIE TWICE is burning even hotter in her follow-up novel. Chase Dagger and his partner Sara are back in action, with a far more elusive target. Shape-shifting Sara is about to meet the darker side of the legend, as a string of grisly murders begins almost in their backyard. With the help of an obsessed professor and his staunch supporter, an ex-cop, they are in pursuit of the deadliest and most incredible villain they have ever faced.

    Excellent cross appeal tale

On the eastern edge of Cedar Point, Indiana lives two unique humans (Chase Dagger and Sara) and a brilliant parrot appropriately named Einstein. The trio lives in a mausoleum in the middle of 300 acres of reservation land. The eighteen years old Sara is a Native American with the ability to shape shift into a wolf or a hawk while Chase is a more mundane but discrete private detective. Only Chase has lived to see her change into a wolf because any other observer is killed in order to protect Sara.
Chase¿s current case centers on stolen armaments taken from a police evidence room. With the help of a mad inventor, they have constructed a spider looking machine that transmits pictures to whomever is on the receiving end of the transmission. However, a second more personal investigation drops into their laps as a rash of brutal murders occur that leans towards an evil shapeshifter on a rampage with knowledge of Sara¿s existence. Chase will do everything to keep Sara safe from a deadly killing machine seeking to absorb her power through her death.
This fantastic mystery series contains elements of fantasy and horror that are fully interwoven into the who-done-it story line. This leads to a cross appeal audience who will fully enjoy FULL MOON, BLOODY MOON. The enthralling tale includes dynamic appealing charcaters, fast-paced action, and the humorous antics and energy of Einstein. Lee Driver cleverly uses the lighthearted antics of the parrot to ease some of the dark tension that almost overwhelms the reader with gloom. Fans will anxiously await more novels in what appears to be a winning series.
Harriet Klausner
