Editorial Reviews

VOYA - Alicia Abdul
Legend's Run is preparing for a werewolf festival, but the community does not realize that there are werewolves among them. Celeste's boyfriend, Brandon, and her now ex-boyfriend Nash have both been bitten and turn during each full moon. Brandon's father is working hard to create a potion to reverse the effects, but in the meantime, both teens must work together to protect the community from a group of three werewolves who have come to town on the heels of the festival looking for a mate—and they have their eyes set on Celeste. While the magic of werewolves is ubiquitous, Celeste's friendships and relationships are as real and mundane as any high school girl's: they are deciding where to go to college and what to do on Friday night. But her friends are clueless about Brandon and Nash. The book's simplicity and magic may garner attention, but its brevity and triviality might be underwhelming in comparison with other paranormal romances. Yet this last installment of the Full Moon werewolf trilogy leaves at least one werewolf and a romance in full bloom in the ways of any good teen drama. If paranormal romance is still beating strong among teens in your community or they are fans of Schreiber's Vampire Kisses series, then they will be eager to finish this simple and short trilogy. I loved the authors other series Vampire Kisses and was disapponted because this wasn't new. It was the same book with a werewolf instead of a vampire and new names. I kind of wanted a new story.

    Great!

Its a little predictable but follows the last books story line to a tee. I love the characters although Nash's behaviour change is a little drastic.

This book was a really fun addition to the series and I felt it

This book was a really fun addition to the series and I felt it did a pretty good job of wrapping things up at the end although I would still love to read some more about these characters.

    Cinderfur's Warning/Prophey

Something dark has powers to save VallyClan, not an object or plain darkness. Dark will help the clan, for something bad is gonna shake the ground and destroy the territory to it's roots.

    I Also Recommend:

    Disappointed

I don't always give 1 star ratings. Maybe 2, maybe 2.5 but this? Huh, disappointing is how I feel about this one. Just that ending, I mean really? Really? I like a guilty pleasure book now and then you know? They can be fun reads. That's how I felt with Vampire Kisses series. But Full Moon series? Kind of but as much. Some of the characters found boring or just there or wish there were more moments with them. In the last book in the series, trilogy, Brandon and Celeste find they have some new "friends" in town. While at the same time, helping Nash who well got bit. And wow was there moments I just facepalmed or thought what, wait, why would you do that? You could of done this or that instead, but that? Come, on! I felt 3 books wasn't enough, like you were expecting more but instead you're like, huh that's it? Okay then. If you like this series, then cool, but for me I just felt disappointed by it overall. It doesn't I hated it or anything. Maybe moments where I was leaning towards it but I still liked some parts in it. For example, how supportive Celeste was to Brandon, and he to her. I didn't like however how they kept Nash in the dark about his new "self." I get that they trying to help and that they mean well, I do but still. At least they start to maybe get along. So this is a 1.5 rating for me. I honestly wanted to like it, no really. And would have to, if not for the ending. Even the ending to the VK series, while also a little disappointing was better. I will say this, the covers for these books are pretty. Love the backgrounds on them. Who doesn't love a good vampire and or werewolf story?
