Meet the Author

Arina Tanemura began her manga career in 1996 at the early age of 18, when her short stories debuted in Ribon magazine. Tanemura gained notoriety with the 1997 publication of I-O-N, a high school romance with a supernatural twist. From 1998 to 2000, she worked on the popular series Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne, about a young girl who is the reincarnation of Joan of Arc, followed by Time Stranger Kyoko in 2000-2001 and Full Moon o Sagashite in 2002. Despite Tanemura's intentions to draw in a style that makes her stories difficult to animate, both Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne and Full Moon o Sagashite have been adapted into TV series.

I will never forget Full Moon

I have read HUNDREDS of manga, no joke, and Full moon will ALWAYS be my favorite. I can't even begin to describe how I feel about this amazing work of literature. The story is beautifully written and touching. I cried so much throughout the series. The characters are amazing. I loved each one, and they will surely touch your soul. The art is PHENOMENAL. Arina is definitely something. This is a MUST READ; it will change you forever.

A great Shoujo, with a wonderful Conclusion!

When I first saw Full Moon, I looked at the cover & said "nope". But After reading Arina's other manga series: The Gentleman's Alliance Cross, I gave it a chance & i'm glad I did. The story & plot is well done, the art is amazing, & ...it's just extremely good! And the conclusion is as sweet as the rest of the story & a great way to some it all up! Highly recomend you check it out!

Full Moon is not something you should miss.

I've loved this series ever since I watched the anime a couple years ago. The manga plot is a little different from the anime but not overly so. Don't let the fact that the main character has throat cancer push you away from this title. The main couple is just too adorable for words. If you want to read a manga with fun, romance, and a happy ending then this is for you. ^_^\/
