    Cloudripple

Cloudripple sat by herself, thinking. "Why?" She whispered quietly, staring at her paws. "Why does something bad have to happen after something even remotely good?" She had really no friends that she could talk to anymore; she hadn't seen Dreamlily in moons; Velvetstar was far too busy; Amberspirit was missing; and Lilywolf didn't even remember her! Tears came to her eyes as she remembered how fearful Lilywolf had looked when she didnt recognize her.
Sighing, Cloudripple shoved the memory aside and fixed her nest; it had been torn apart from a moon's worth of restless dreams.
