Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature
A white, round board book featuring a bright-eyed bunny stares out at readers. Attached to the package and surrounding the book is a white headband with fuzzy ears and in the box that forms the base is a bunny tail which can be clipped on—and that may prove to be the most challenge part of the outfit. The bunny is enjoying activities such as hiding behind a floppy ear, cleaning his fur, thumping and twitching and cuddling with his mother. It is a very weak story and probably won't hold kids attention for very long. However, it is a combination board book and dress-up play set that according to the creators "will inspire your little one's imagination to run wild." That may be a bit much, but it may prove amusing. Others in the "Furry Tales" series include Piggy, Tiger and Monkey. Please note that the twist tie holding the headband should be removed before giving this package to a young child. 2004, Hyperion, Ages 18 mo. to 3.
