J. may be more than he can take.

Brutalized by the harsh reality of prison, J. J. thinks she is hallucinating when a majestic dark-haired god sweeps in to save her—and Wick is shaken to his core by the attraction he feels for J. J. But neither is out of harm's way yet. When they find themselves at the center of a Dragonkind war, they are forced to make the ultimate choice—surrender to their fears or accept each other’s love.

4.5 Stars ~Reviewed by ANGELA & posted at Under the Covers Book Blog I knew coming into this book that Wick is darkened with a past that future relationship was just unimaginable. Frankly, I had no idea how his story will be playing out. He also had a certain bond with Venom, his best bud that I couldn’t quite understand. Their relationship made me question their sexuality. I won’t divulge that little information , but I can tell you that they are very close and Ven is the only one who truly knows him. I was curious on how this author was going to break this tough guy down to actually have him fall for any female. I am happy to say that Wick’s past was not as dark as I expected. I take that back, his past was dark, but Ms. Callahan didn’t go into specific details , so readers didn’t have to experience any of the sufferings. But she does let her readers know who Wick really is. Wick is fierce, brave, feared , and he is respected among his comrades. What I didn’t expect is that Wick, the scary dangerous grump that I know was nothing but a sweetheart. After meeting Jamison, he was nothing but mush. It was fascinating that this woman can have such power over Wick. The things Jamison did or say that made Wick smile just melted my heart. Jamison on the other hand, was quite the opposite. She is this fragile woman who is trying her damnedest to be tough. Her decisions show’s she is quite strong, but no, she is not a kick ass heroine. But that’s okay because Wick is there to take care of her. I think that was the draw, Wick had that need to save her. I really enjoyed their love story. Ms. Callahan of course didn’t exclude the action and suspense that I have come to expect in this series. The warfare between the Razorbacks and Nightfury continues. Now the Razarbacks are attempting bigger and better ways to destroy humanity along with the Nightfury pack. With that said, you know that there are some battle scenes that are worth reading. There is a bit of build up for Forge which I’m hoping it’s because his book is up next. Anyone who enjoys PNR reads that has some form of brotherhood or intricate world building such as Kenyon’s Dark Hunters, Thea Harrison’s Elder Races, and even JR Ward’s BDB will sure to enjoy Ms. Callahan’s Dragonfury series. *ARC review provided by publisher in exchange for an honest review

wow! #4 Book is about our favorite bad boy dragon Wick and his new mate Jamison! A perfect paring for these two scared people -with lots of emotional baggage who find each other and peace. The bad guys are there but I found that part dragged but most part this is a great book. I would recommend the other books in the series first to enjoy the whole story of the Dragonfury!!!

4.75* I loved this book so much. I want to just say "YOU HAVE TO READ THIS BOOK" but of course that's to simple. I was sucked into this book from the very beginning and could hardly put it down. I didn't want it to end and I can't wait for the next book. There are so many things coming in this series I don't know which one I want to happen first.  Oh...Wick so very hot and so very heart wrenchingly wounded. He is one of the best characters I've read in a while. Jamison is a strong loving person who is wrongly imprisoned for protecting herself and her sister. Wick owes a debt of gratitude and sets out to get Jamison out of a deadly situation. Read this book and find out how two very wounded people chose a love that they never wanted but knew they couldn't live without.  This book can be read as a stand alone book but I highly suggest reading in order.  They only reason I didn't give this a 5* rating is for me it slowed in the middle a little.  I was given this book for a honest review by the author.

I cannot begin to tell you how much I enjoyed Fury of Desire. Coreene Callahan paints the most gorgeous pictures with her words. I can picture dragons in flight and at war with no problem due to her descriptions. And just when you think it can't get any better, the emotions are expressed just as eloquently. I found myself feeling everything Wick and JJ were going through. I didn't want the book to end! You can't go wrong with this author and this series. I received Fury of Desire from the author for an honest review.

This must be the most captivating book so far. All the previous books were captivating but this one had more action and the main couple was so much better. JJ, Tania's sister is in the hospital after being brutally assaulted in prison. Wick, the most dangerous Nightfury wants to get her from there and prison, in retribution to Mac's helping his friend Venom. When getting her from the hospital, the Nightfuries, meet a new and intriguing character, dragonkin too, that is trying also to get JJ out of the hospital. From here the action is non-stop until the end of the book. We also get to see a little more of what's going on at Prague; unfortunatelly, it was very little and that part ends with a cliffhanger that's killing me! JJ and Wick are 2 very damaged people, they don't trust easily, but the attraction between them is so strong and irresistable making this the most sweet and perfect couple.

This is the fourth book in The Dragonfury Series. I loved it! Wick is a fantastic character! He is a quiet, deadly warrior who even intimidates his fellow brothers-in-arms. He is extremely intense and private, and has an aversion to being touched. However, his tough exterior hides a vulnerable and scarred young boy, who has faced untold terrors as a slave. I liked this intense man when I was first introduced to him in Fury of Fire, but I am glad he has had an opportunity to have his story told and for me to get to know him better. Jamison Jordan Solares (J.J. for short) is the younger sister to Tania. She is a wonderful character, who has not had the most auspicious dealings with men; she is serving her sentence for killing her abusive ex after all. She too has trust issues, but when she meets Wick, she realises that the taciturn warrior is worth the risk. I liked meeting J.J., because she is the light to Wick's dark. I have become totally addicted to this series! This is another book that I have purchased the audio copy of, so that I could listen to the story as I went about the household chores. I was completely hooked from the first sentence! The story is very similar to the other three previous books, but the Dragonfury pack is filled with interesting characters with complex individual issues and problems, so each story has something new for the reader to experience. The leader of the Razorback's, Ivar, is still experimenting, but now with the help of Hamersveld, a rogue water dragon, his experiment takes on an even more deadly twist. I am NOT looking forward to finding out the results! There are new characters to meet, and shocking twists and new developments for my beloved dragons to deal with. The introduction of Azrad into the mix has given this story a slight comic twist, even though the author didn't mean to. I liked the scene with Azrad and J.J. and the trip to the nurse's station. It tickled me! I was grinning, even though I know that it was rather serious, even potentially dangerous. However, I could imagine it quite clearly! The way the author described the scene made me wonder if she had had a similar experience at one time. In fact, the whole book (and series) is highly detailed, and every fight and every intimate moment is described in such a way that it comes alive. Benjamin L. Darcie did another amazing job reading/narrating the story. His voice and reading pace was rather mesmerizing, which helped me "see" the scenes with ease! I may have to search for more of the books this man has narrated (if any)! I am now looking forward to reading/listening to the next book in the series as soon as it is released! Coreene Callahan has written another fantastic paranormal romance. She is fast becoming one of my favourite authors to read. Her books are fast paced, exciting and extremely addictive! I still have an issue with the f-bombs used, but I have come to realise that these characters are what they are, and I wouldn't change them at all. Due to the use of bad language and the explicit sexual scenes, I do not recommend this book for younger readers. However, I highly recommend this book if you love erotic paranormal romances or books with sexy dragon shifters! - Lynn Worton
