Overview

"My name is Kaeleen Donovan. I'm a Theosian-a minor goddess. They call me Fury."

By day, I run the Crossroads Cleaning Company, and I also read fortunes and cast hexes at Dream Wardens, a magical consulting shop. But by night, I'm oath-bound to Hecate, Goddess of the Crossroads. Hecate charged me from birth with the task of hunting down Abominations who come in off the World Tree and sending them back to Pandoriam.

On a routine cleaning job in Portside—a boat full of ghosts need their joyride cut short—Tam and I run afoul of the Devani. The ruthless soldiers of Elysium capture him and send him out to the Tremble, a place of wild, chaotic madness. Jason and I devise a plan to sneak in and help Tam escape. But Lyon and the Order of the Black Mist reappear, and I’m on their hit list. Lyon opens a door to the realm of Tartarus and the walking dead are pouring into the city. Now, we must wade through both the Devani the dead to save Tam. And we must close the portal on the World Tree before Lyon manages to wake the Elder Gods of Chaos.

I received a free copy of this book, my review on this novel is voluntary. Fury's Magic is book 2 in the Fury Unbound series and it's a great addition to the new series. I won't give any spoilers because it takes the suspense away, but this book is worth staying up late for, even when your eyes are trying to close on you. Fury's world is unpredictable, I believe that's what peaks my interest in these novels. It's unlike Yasmine's Otherworld series and Fly By Night series, but you can still sense similarities in the battle scenes and in Fury's determination to find her lover Tam. I believe the chaos in her world has only just begun.

****I received a free copy of this book. This review is completely voluntary****  Kaeleen Donovan is a Theosian-a minor goddess they call Fury, she is bound to the Goddess Hecate. She hunts down abominations for the goddess that come off the word tree by night. By day she runs the Crossroads Cleaning Company. This is the second book in the Fury Bound series. In this book Fury is up against another scheme from the order of the black mist. Which she unwillingly stumble on, coinciding with her lover Tam ending up being taken by the Devani during a routine job. Okay. So wow!! This book was so AMAZING! The world Galenorn created had me in awe more than once. I loved the fast pace the emotion of this book. The creatures created the places and even the new words for this world amazed me. I loved Fury, I loved her wipe especially! Hecate also made me very intrigued as did a few others. I enjoyed reading the action in every fight there was nothing lacking in any of them. There was enough suspense and some gore. I really can't get over how much I loved this book, and the world I was sucked into. I am looking forward to what more will come from Fury and what will happen next. Would love to see more character bonding, saw some not a lot but I'm not complaining. With so much changed already and still changing it can be mind blowing. If you like a steampunk kind of work (sort of) this is kind of it. Futuristic and extremely creative. I will MOST DEFINITELY RECOMMEND. It's a MUST!

Better than Fury Rising and that is not easy for me to say. As I have stated before, I am not a huge fan of post apocalyptic stories but when I read Fury Rising, I began to change my mind. This book, Fury's Magic, continues to change it with great ferocity. In this tale, Fury is dealing with a ship of ghosts when all of a sudden, she is faced with losing her love Tam, who was arrested and sent to a hell of sorts. She is in a race to save him before he loses his mind...literally. But she is not alone. With Jason, her friend and Bossman, and the Goddess Hecate on her side she undertakes the journey to save Tam and the other people who were imprisoned with him. Does she get to him in time? Do they have a happily ever after? Read and find out!!! Ms. Galenorn, you may have converted me to loving post apocalyptic stories with your amazing tales of Fury!! Fast paced and never a dull moment.
