Fushigi Yugi VIZBIG Edition vol 2

I have always enjoyed this series so when this special edition came out and with the absolutely gorgeous and romantic looking cover i was sold, the storyline continues Miaka has to find the remaining celestial warriors but there are troubles in her way as in Tamahome leaving to protect her and Hong Nan,Hoto hori,Nuriko and her being abducted by bandits but they do find the next warrior Tasuki,In Seiryu,Yui is happy that Tamahome has arrived,Nakago gives him a potion that makes him forget everything and become a senseless robot,he even attacks Miaka much to her shock. But Miaka is able to return Tamahome to his original self with only her love for him, they find Mitsukake and "Chiriko",actually "Chiriko" is Amboshi a Seiryu warrior,Miaka tries to summon Suzaku but instead Tai Yi-Jun appears and tells her she has failed,Miaka is frustrated that she has failed everyone and that everyone's sacrifices was for nothing,Tai Yi-Jun sees that Miaka has matured and tells her that there is another way to summon Suzaku by going to the northern Genbu country and finding the Shentso Pao treasure but the journey will be difficult,Miaka is determined to do it.Great storyline with lots of laughs, romance, action and emotions. This manga is a treat!

    A really good fantasy manga

For me,I would say FY has to be one of the most unforgettable manga ever made. (Figures cuz it was my first anime)
The story is pretty good. Since Miaka and Yui are pitted against each other (with mostly Yui doing the hating) because of their countries and Tamahome.
Though what I get annoyed is that Miaka only focuses too much on Tamahome. I mean look at Hotohori for goodness sakes! No wonder Yui wants her and him apart.
Despite the often annoying female lead, the story is still pretty good along with it's art. It's so nostalgic to look at it. XD
