Bob and Diamond race back to Mars to join the Allied Martian Powers in a fight for its survival. The zealot faction of the loyalists, the Andazeh, are hellbent on destroying everything in their path. They have advanced their diabolical plan to rid Mars of humans and any aliens who oppose them and they've found a new hiding place in which to launch their guerilla strikes. Their primary focus is the city of Ophir – the budding flower of Mars.
To Bob's great dismay, the enemy receives an unintended boon directly from him! Both he and Diamond must help the Alliance finish the job of defeating the enemy once and for all, bringing the conflict to a dramatic conclusion.
