The grammar is horrible & there are typos everywhere. Those are the high points- at least all the basic publishing mistakes can keep you interested enough to finish. Though this 'book' is really a shortish term paper (without the double spacing and huge breaks between chapters the book might total 20 single spaced pages), you will have a hard time finding anything of academic or real world trading value. As someone brand new to trading futures this is certainly the worst start I could've had and I am compelled to read at least three other decent books just to get the horrrible taste of 'Futures for Small Speculators...' out of my mouth.

I loved it. It made perfect sense to me. I have invested in futures before, but it always seemed as if I was missing one key of the puzzle. This is that key. The author was clear and concise and really laid bare all of the necessary information in order to succeed with futures. I enjoyed it immensely. I look forward to purchasing the workbook that goes along with it.

This was a phenomenal book. It really helped me to understand a lot of the psychology I need to have being a small investor. It was also invaluable to making sure I didn't make costly mistakes. Of all the books I have on my shelf I think this is one of the best. The only thing I didn't like was that it didn't tell me exactly how to trade. It gives you the tools to trade,Futures Trading Plan and keeping a Trading Journal are the primary ones. But it lacked giving me a precise strategy, but I guess I have enough of those books...over half of them didn't work. All in all its a great book and I would definitely recommend it.
