The continuation of the Rhyn Trilogy saga.

Death Finds Love.

Recently appointed as Death, Gabriel's life can't get much worse. His underworld is in shambles, and he's racing demons to collect souls in the human world. To add to his mess, he discovers that his predecessor raised an unwelcome Immortal from the dead, one who threatens the Immortal Council that his friend, the Ancient Rhyn, is trying to hold together. When the underworld shuts Gabriel out, he's convinced he's hit rock bottom. Until he meets her, and he realizes things can get worse. Much worse.

Now in human form, Deidre - Gabriel's predecessor and long-time tormenter - is dying from a brain tumor. Rather than mourn, she decides to enjoy the rest of her short life by checking off every box on her bucket list. Little does she suspect that a weekend getaway to the beach will throw her into the hands of Death himself and overturn everything she knows about her world. Deidre has no idea who she was in her past life, but she must learn fast, or she'll never understand why the Immortals, demons and Death alike are after her. The secret is buried in her head, and the only way to uncover it will kill her.

To survive, she must reach the wounded man behind the mask of Death and show him that the world is filled with more than tragedy and pain.

I have been following this author since her first book. Her stories have always been wonderful and it's awesome to see how much she has grown as a writer. I loved Gabriel’s Hope. Even in his minor roles in the other books of this series I loved Gabriel. To see him get his own story was very exciting. And what a story he got! The chemistry and the way the love story evolved was very believable. The heat in that beach when he first met Deidre was intense! Those are the moments I wished Lizzy wrote sex scenes! LOL.

BUT Lizzy! Oh Lizzy! Why did you torture me with such a cliff hanger! I thank my lucky stars you don't take 2 years to write sequels. I was a fool at 12am screaming NOO!!!!!! I want more Gabriel! Seriously if you have not discovered the wonderful world behind her stories you are missing out. Read them all. They are all wonderful. If you want to test the waters start off with Kiera's Moon. You will soon be hooked. You don't need to read the Rhyn trilogy to enjoy Gabriel's Hope, but I recommend you do. This way you know the characters well and don't think she forgot to develop them. Love you Lizzy!

I loved Gabriel before when he was in the Rhyn Trilogy and I’m so happy Lizzy Ford gave him his own book! Gabriel is pretty bad ass in this book! He takes over for the former death who by the way left him with a huge mess to clean up.  Demons are taking souls before they can get to them in the human world and he also finds out his predecessor raised an Immortal from the dead. An Immortal who no one was too fond of.  If that’s not bad enough Rhyn is trying to hold together the Immortal Council. When Gabriel Finds himself locked out of the underworld he’s convince he has pretty much failed at being death. That is until he meets Deidre and everything really goes to hell.  She is a human dying from a brain tumor.  She is strong and won’t let dying get in the way of finishing her bucket list. She has things to do before she dies.  Little does she realize the person she met in the dark on the beach is Death himself.   Poor Deidre has no idea who she was in her past life, but she must learn and learn fast because there are those who never did like the former death because she screwed everyone over. The secret is buried in her head, and the only way to uncover it may very well kill her.
Loved this book! The beginning was a tiny bit slow but once you get into it you really get sucked into the story. Gabriel is really left with a mess and then he’s struggling with his feelings for Deidre. This poor guy’s life is all messed up right now but he slowly starts to get things in hand. That is Until Lizzy Ford leaves us with the worst cliffhanger ever!!! Now I’m dying for book 2 because I really need to know how things end.  The story is really well written and captures your interest after a few chapters I think for those of us who have read read the Rhyn Trilogy we know a bit more about who Gabriel is and what’s going on with Rhyn and the council but it’s really not needed to read this book you can still read it without reading the other but I still recommend reading the Rhyn Trilogy first to get the back story.  All in all it was a great read! I have to stay Lizzy Ford has nailed it again!

Once again Lizzy brings another incredible story to life, and one I've been waiting for, since I started reading the Rhyn Trilogy.

The story that transpires between Deidre and Gabriel is one that I absolutely loved. It has everything from suspense, intrigue, love, lust, death, fear, betrayal and is utterly addicting. Once I started reading this book I found it impossible to put down.

Lizzy brings such life into her characters and the worlds she creates that you can't bring yourself to leave. I can't wait to see how the story continues in book 2 in this series. Thank you Lizzy for another amazing book!!

As the synopsis tells you, this book is the continuation of the Rhynn Trilogy. I haven't actually read any of the Rhynn Trilogy although they are waiting for me on my kindle. This small but significant fact did NOT mean that I couldn't read and thoroughly enjoy this book. Yes, there are comments made about how Gabriel helped Rhynn and Katie but nothing that will either ruin their story when I read it or could be anything but back story for Gabriel.

So moving onto Gabriel's Hope itself - Deirdre is dying of a terminal tumor and confused. She doesn't know who she can trust and who to avoid. Even her boyfriend turned out to be dead after she'd had sex with him. She has to find out about herself and who she was before she can move forward and have any kind of life, for at least the next three months.

Gabriel can't believe that after everything he went through with Deirdre (one of those things I haven't read about yet but doesn't impact too much as everyone else tells Deirdre what she was like so you find out too), she is his immortal mate. He is none too impressed with this knowledge and tries to figure out a way around it. On top of that, the Underworld is in chaos and he has got to put it to rights from 'our side' before the portals will open and allow him back to the Underworld.

This story is fast-paced and funny. The reactions of both Deirdre and Gabriel as they come to realise that things are different now are a joy to read. Poor Deirdre has the hardest time as she can't remember who she was before and has to learn some not very nice truths about Past-Deirdre.

This book ends on a cliff-hanger that immediately leaves you wanting to move onto book 2. Definitely recommended.

    Love this book

I sort of started off in the middle, I recommend reading Katie's Hellion first then the next two in that series after them then this book, but if you don't its ok.....because I started off here and I loved it. It was easy to piece together. I recommend this book to anyone who likes books/series on Demons/Immortals and the like. Great reading!! Thank you Lizzy Ford!!!

    Gabriel's Hope

This tale is epic and mind blowing. Even the second time around. This is the first book in this series. I've finally got the chance to get the other books. So i wanted to refresh my memory.

Gabriel's Hope by Lizzy Ford is a fantastic read.  Although it isn't necessary to have read Rhyn's story first, it helped with the back stories.  The characters in this one are much more likable, even though one is Death.  Another win for Lizzy Ford.

This was a fast packed read. At times it is a little hard to follow due to the numerous characters. The book ends abruptly, with a cliff hanging ending, leaving no other option but to buy the next book if you want to find out what happens. I do recommend the book..

    FANTASTIC start to the series!!!

I LOVED this book from beginning to end!!! I felt a personal connection with Deidre, a childhood friend of mine died of the same health issues she had throughout most of the book. It was interesting to see a nicer side of her from what we had been used to seeing in the Rhyn Trilogy! Seeing Gabriel come into his own and be confident in himself and his abilities was wonderful!!! I have been wanting to know more about Gabriel since I read Katie's Hellion and, Ms. Ford certainly delivers!!!! It was great getting to see some of the characters I have grown to love in the Rhyn Trilogy such as Rhyn, Katie, and Toby and learning more of the brothers and meeting WYNN!!!! So many story avenues Ms. Ford can explore with all these characters!!! I recommend this book to most anyone, the book has it all: hope, humor, danger, betrayal, love...I CANNOT WAIT to see where Ms. Ford takes us next!!!

I love Gabriel he is strong and dark but also caring and lost but I am glad he found his way and I love the fact that he belives in Deidre. I am glad you wrote a book about him. Him and Deidere are great. The book is well written and I had it read in no time Now I can't wait to read the next book to see what happens. I like Dedeire and the fact that she started out lost and confused and by the end she figured out what had to be done to save herself and Gabriel. This is a fabulous well written book. Lizzy Ford has wriiten another great book.

Just when you think it can't get any better, Lizzy Ford surprises us yet again, and raises the bar another notch. The story of *Gabriel's Hope* is a wonderful continuation of the *Rhyn* saga, but also a book that stands on its own merit. A highly recommendable read for fan of the paranormal.
