“This book was different from anything I've read and I couldn't put it down. I fell in love with the characters and Kale's story and I highly recommend it.” Aaron B.- Goodreads Reviewer

“A surprising new gladiator story with a twist and an underlying love story that will keep you reading. I found myself wanting more after I finished the book and was glad to see she is working on the next one!” Jennifer Ekins- Goodreads Reviewer

“. . . This book took me by complete surprise! . . .I really liked was that this book had a male protagonist. . . This book had all the genres that I love included in it: paranormal, dystopian, and romance. . .The society and government reminded me a little of The Hunger Games but with a unique twist to it. And I liked the subtle touch of romance which added to the story but did not overpower it. I was so impressed with Galdoni that I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fresh voice in YA.” Lexie Hogan- Goodreads Reviewer

“This story is unique and inventive. . .I was mesmorized by this world of bred killers. . . I must give credit for something so creative.” TheBookWhisperer, Book Blogger

“Very satisfying read, I enjoyed the characters immensely and the conflict felt real and devastating.” Lucy- Goodreads Reviewer

“. . . A futuristic gladiator book about high school students. The relationships in this book feel real and I related well to the characters. I would recommend this book.” Steven Bond- Goodreads Reviewer

“Everything I've read from this author has left me speechless. She has such a wide range of subjects and characters, but it's the heart that links them together. Read her books. They will sweep you away.” S. Teppen- Goodreads Reviewer

"This is the Arena, and here we live to die." These are the words carved into a holding cell where genetically-altered gladiators, the winged humans called Galdoni, are trained to fight. Kale, rescued by three high school students and nursed back from the brink of death, is given the chance to experience life as a human. When the other Galdoni are threatened, he has to use what he learned in the world outside the Academy to face the Arena and return to the human girl he loves.

Dark and exciting, Galdoni pushes the boundaries of love in a world of violence.

    Amaya

Galdoni is one of my favorite books. It pulls you in at the very begining and makes you keep wanting to read more and more. It has the right amount of action, romance, and the super natural. The characters seem to be sitting right by you because of their emotional depth. And the storyline was amazing and new. The only bad thing about it was the spelling errors, but those were easily over-looked. Please give it a try. It's free. xD

    more from this reviewer

My friend Angela lent me this. Said you went to school together, LOVED IT

I was expecting to not like this Serious. I know, don't judge a book by its cover and al that, but I gotta say, I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked it. It had a minor Hunger Games feel to it but it wasn't at the same time. I truely feel like this story can progress to another book, maybe something about Kale starting his life anew but the guards from the Arena want revenge for losing their jobs, or the gamblers want revenge for losing their money, something like that would be good. I have only read this one book by this author but let me tell you, it won't be the last. I'll be calling my friend Angela right away to lend me another (she says you went to school together in Delta, middle school, and if that's the case, I went to school with you to :)
