Founded in 1967, they are now the largest sports magazine in the U.S., and have won Publisher of the Year, Magazine of the Year, and an Emmy Award. They are based primarily in Nashville, Tennessee. Eric Montross is a color commentator for University of North Carolina (UNC) basketball broadcasts and is a retired professional basketball player. He was part of the UNC team that won the NCAA Championship in 1993, and he was named an All-American athlete two consecutive years. He was a first-round draft pick for the Boston Celtics and played for nine years in the NBA. He lives in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
