Meet the Author

Almost every author says they wanted to write from a very early age. Not me. I wanted to be a detective like Nancy Drew, or a wildlife expert like Jim Fowler or an archaeologist like Indiana Jones. Or own an island resort and make fantasies come true!I didn’t do too badly with any of those…I married a detective, worked in a zoo, explored shipwrecks instead of old ruins, and spent 18 glorious years living on a sunny island. As for those fantasies…That’s another book ;)

Wylie Snow is a very witty, humorous writer. I enjoyed her witty comments and rapporteur between characters. I also enjoyed the combination of nationalities - American and British. It read quickly and was something I wanted to keep reading. This is another romantic novel with refreshing writing. I would recommend it. Please note, I received this novel free from the author. Opinions and words are my own.

Game On is a humorous, sexy, love story that captivates you, makes you laugh at the snarky comments and witty banter, and think about cold showers when you read the oh so steamy scenes! Clara and Luc are just great! They have flaws, they are normal, everyday people that want to fall in love but have history’s that intrude. Luc, oh my, is just yummy! I have always loved when you have characters and situations when the feelings are so intense, the chemistry is so right, that you just explode and cannot stop yourself---like in an elevator! This story is a journey that you do not want to miss out on! You will laugh till you cry, hit your head against the wall in frustration, and moan at the passion that radiates from the pages! Love, humor, sarcasm, a battle of wits, and playing for keeps! Game On! I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I must admit that I took a few days to read this one, I was bored through most of the first chapters, but once things started to pick up between Luc and Clara; I couldn't walk away. Clara is a food critique in London, and Luc is an ex-hockey player whom now writes commentary on the game he once devoted his life  to. Both are thrown together for work after a failed attempt at a one night stand. Neither one is happy about it, and all of that sexual  tension is still there.I felt as though Luc fell to fast for Clara and Clara really seemed kind of childish in her way of thinking.  But I really did enjoy the book once I got past the slow parts. My favorite quote in the book was this one: "I... I... I... n-need," she stuttered. "I need... a... a..." "You need a--? What do you need, love? Anything. Just ask. I'll bring you the moon if that's what will make you happy." *I received a copy to review, all opinions are my own*

I'll never open another hotel room door again without thinking about this book, and smiling.
