Off the court, tennis star Jason Cartwright's playboy image is taking a public beating. On the court, he's down forty-love. A knee injury is shutting down his game, and the paparazzi are splashing his love life on every magazine. A comeback is in order, but the makeover he needs to save his faltering career is in the hands of the woman he loved and left fifteen years ago.

While single-mom, Izzy Connors, sees people for who they really are through the lens of her camera, even without it, she knows Jason isn't the star he appears to be. Although his charm and good looks haven't dimmed since he broke her heart, all she sees is his wasted talent and playboy lifestyle.

Can Izzy put the past behind her and help Jason get his game, and his image, back on track? Or will the click of her camera shatter his world as well as his heart?

Meet the Author

Nana’s love of all things romance and adventure started with a tattered romantic suspense she borrowed from her cousin on a sultry summer afternoon in Ghana at a precocious thirteen. She’s been in love with kick butt heroines ever since. With her overactive imagination, and channeling her inner Buffy, it was only a matter a time before she started creating her own characters. Waiting for her chance at a job as a ninja assassin, Nana, meantime works out her drama, passion and sass with fictional characters every bit as sassy and kick butt as she thinks she is. Though, until that ninja job comes through, you’ll find her acting out scenes for hubby and puppy while catching up on her favorite reality television shows in sunny San Diego. At 289 pages, not bad for a free book. This was a light quick read (read it in less than a day). You got some very steamy parts and 1 very sexy love sexual encounter. I loved the exploration of interracial relationships and households and the views of outsiders looking in. The reader is also shown a glimpse of a celebrity dealing with his notoriety as well as trying to have a personal life. We get to see some of the emotions regarding that from 2 perspectives. They basically wrapped everything up in the last 10 pages or so but overall, a good read. On a side note, I read a reviewer saying this book could be made into a move. I could see Paul Walker playing the part of Jason Cartwright…just sayin’…

I always like the books that involve family as well as a romantic couple, much more dimension to the story.

This is a light read about the relationships among the main character who is a famous photographer who uses a pseudo name to sell her art. The primary person is a black woman who interacts with her son, a manager, her assistant, a former "best friend," and a former lover. It is a fun, light, fast read, for someone who enjoys a few twists and turns. It would be for a reader who enjoys an airy topic. I would read other books from this author

This is a fun light read with characters that are interesting but not too complicated. Includes sex but not too over the top.

Excellent story of Izzy and Jason relationship,  to include seeing from both sides of the relationship.  The supporting cast, especially Izzy's assistant Jessia along with son Nick. Great 291pages. Happy ending.*vrnb*

Even though I didn't see this book as too realistic, I found myself connecting to Izzy and seeing some of her struggles in me. I found myself on the edge of my seat during the steamy sex scenes. I plan on reading this book again in the future. This book is not for the younger set because of the explicit sex scenes.
