As the title suggests, it is "very short"; only seven inches tall and less than one hundred and eighty pages long. If you have heard of Game Theory on CBS's "Numb3rs" or the movie "A Beautiful Mind" about John Nash, and wondered what it was, this book will introduce you to the key terms, concepts, and mathematicians associated with it. There are no more mathematics involved than the basic stuff you had in high school. The book is like a "Cliff Notes" summary; if you are taking a class at a university, all that this book will do for you is give you an expanded syllabus of a generic class on the subject. Read your text as instructed.
The book reads very easy and can be read in an evening or over a couple days of commuting or while waiting in a doctor's office lobby. It's size allows it to fit in your back pocket, purse, or briefcase with ease.
Well worth the cost of less than fifteen dollars.

Good book, it is playful and simple, meant to be an introduction to game theory not a comprehensive exploration of game theory. <BR/><BR/>It is curious to note that the in store price is $2 cheaper than buying it online.

I'm an absolute novice in game theory, this is the first book I ever picked up. The text is very hard to understand from a novice point of view. He gives simple examples of each aspect of game theory using, 'Alice' and 'Bob' but his writing style is not clearly written.
