    Absolutely fantastic!

Being a homeschooling mom with a preschooler and a 2nd grader, I'm always on the lookout for good one-on-one material. I picked this book up at the library and fell in love with it, read it in one sitting, and bought it the next week. The book is intelligent and fun, without an undertone of condescension that is so common with 'educational games'. They activities are brief enough to hold a child's attention, and although they build on each other (both from one section to the next and within sections), they are also flexible enough that one can pick and choose which activities to use, in which order. Peggy Kaye is brilliant, and I will use and enjoy her books for years to come.
