The juxtaposition of the outlaw image of the rappers with the childlike innocence of a coloring book makes for an instant laugh.

I agree 100% with 'Lighten Up...'. Not every coloring book is geared towards kids. If you don't want your kids to have it, then don't buy it for them. It's not like teachers are handing it out in kindergarten, folks! If you like gangster rap and the originals from the past, I suggest you run out and buy at least three copies! You'll love it!

Okay, people. This is quite obviously not a children's book. Rather, it is a tongue-in-cheek humorous publication which exists not for a child to color in, but because the fact that it exists is funny. It isn't meant to be taken at face value. I, personally, am fed up with parental overprotection when it becomes a doctrine. You people are so concerned about the possibility that a child might encounter something that isn't quite wholesome (which they will anyway, it's only a matter of time) that you fail to appreciate the humorous genius behind such a publication.

Let's build our children up not teach them to gun each other down.

Now we're going to need parental ratings for books like they have for movies and music?!?!?!?...this is obviously not for children or should I say any parent that buys this for children is glorifying violence. Next is going to be the 'serial killa coloring book' featuring the faces of serial killers, their victims and the weapons they used. I am appauled that anyone would sell or buy this. I am angry at Barnes & Noble for selling this or not adding a disclaimer that this is not for children.
