All Music Guide - Andy Kellman
Along with the likes of Crazy & Psychotic, Vol. 1, Sex Money Drugs, and Number 1 Streets Hits, Gangstas and Hustlers was one of several mid-line various-artist compilations released by Rap-a-Lot in 2010. Given the content of the average Rap-a-Lot release, the titles are just about interchangeable -- there is some overlap between the volumes, too -- but this volume, like all the other discs in the series, contains a handful of classics and under-appreciated cuts, including Scarface's "Mr. Scarface" and "Guess Who's Back" (the latter featuring Jay-Z), Facemob's "Facemob Bank Robbery," and Pimp C's "16.5."
