Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher

To add living beauty to an ordinary landscape, author Rachael Lanicci urges readers to attract birds to their gardens by proving for their basic needs of food, water, and shelter.  By supplying these requirements in density and variety, a gardener can develop a site that will attract an abundance of avian friends. In this heavily and colorfully illustrated text, the author presents guidelines for selecting birdhouses, feeders, and water accessories before a brief section on the best plantings that will attract wildlife. The remainder of the book contains a directory of favorite backyard birds and features tips on attracting these favored creatures to the home grounds.                                                              Marilyn K Alaimo
