About the Author

Joe Clark is a gardening and horticulture expert with a passion for all things grown out of the ground. As a child, Joe spent much of his time with his great grandmother in the garden, learning about all the different plants, growing fruit and veg and spotting garden wildlife.

Having previously worked in law and retail management, Joe left the corporate world behind to return to his true passion of gardening, and began to develop his own style. Moving away from the traditional, qualification-bound, allotment style of gardening he learned from his family, Joe embraced a ‘just try it’ mentality and a zero-waste approach, sharing his journey with his followers on social media and encouraging them to experiment along with him - no matter how limited their knowledge or gardening space. Today he inspires over 2.3 million people on TikTok, Facebook and Instagram to help themselves and the planet with his easy to follow tips and tricks. Across all platforms, JoesGarden videos have now been viewed half a billion times. He is the author of Garden to Save the World.

Joe’s mission statement is clear: he wants to simplify the world of gardening and make it accessible for everyone! Anyone can have green fingers, you just need the confidence to try it.
