Overview

She was the one he couldn’t afford to let get away. But for years Jean De La Rue tried his best to forget the woman whose memory imprinted itself on his very soul. It might be madness but his need was too great to deny forever. He had to have her back.

What happened in the past should remain in the past…or not. Emma Duncan tried not to think about the man she met fourteen years ago because it only ended in her wanting a repeat performance of the naughty things he’d done to her, preferably all night long. But her libido would have to take a backseat to the questions she needed answers to. Her son’s life depended on it.

Score: 4.50 / 5 - Reviewer Top Pick (Night Owl Reviews)
Nia Foxx has created a tale that is so hot it's off the scale! The erotic scenes are few
and far between in the story, but when they take place all calm and cool thoughts
are off! The plot also kept me reading to find out when and where the hero, Jean,
and heroine, Emma, were going to meet again. The succubus and her evil
attentions added some delicious tension.

Meet the Author

Like most authors I began writing at an early age, elementary school to be exact. Until 2005 I only circulated my work amongst family members. Writing, for me, is a way to vacation. However, taking those writing vacations only happen on rare occasions since I have 3 very active children who keep me on my toes. Most times you can find me online at night researching and writing, while enjoying smooth jazz, 80's alternative, neo-soul and old school R&B.I love getting feedback from people whether they enjoy my writing or not so please drop me a line.

    It's ok

I usually don't read books of this sort but they were recommended by my niece. In my opinion they could be written a little better and seem to be the work of a young adult. I think the sex scenes are being used as filler and don't match the way the characters speak throughout the story. There is a lot going on and not enough explanation. Also I grew tired of the words "pregnant silence" and "volition" which have been used repeatedly in all three books. The author is an amateur at best.
