    A Fantastic Read

Pellechia took me through the ancient and the modern effortlessly as he wove a story about what he calls 'The Holy Trinity of Mediterranean Food.' His historical notes and his own travel experiences, plus his personal recipes (50 of them) are delightfully placed in the context of a conversation between Pellechia and his reader. He also shows the reader that wine is a food, sure as garlic and olive oil are almost health foods.
