Overview

Tessa Marasdottir has just one goal.
Money.
And now she's found a way to get it.

Cerulean star garnets are her ticket to a better life, and she won't let anyone get in her way. Unfortunately, Daaron Von Saur'rel can't let her keep her gemstones, no matter the cost. He has people to protect, and a vision of the future that can't be stopped. Killing Tessa is the best way to protect his interests - but he can't bring himself to do it. Not when he can't stop lusting for her.

Now Tessa and Daaron find themselves locked in a battle of wills neither can afford to lose. Lives depend on them, and the only way both can win is through a marriage of convenience. It's garnets or bust.

    Short but good

Would have been 5 stars if it had been a longer full story, but it was only about 42 pages long. Story had great potental if J.W. had taken more time and really put her writing skills into a full length novel, nstead of a short novella. What was there, was very good and kept my attention, but also was disappointing because of shortness and no real time to become involved with the characters. Really not a fan of short stories. I also think as part of the description given to get you to buy the "book" the number of pages should also be displayed by BN and all other sellers. Good story line.....just wished for more........
