He finds that Tess McQueen, newly arrived to the town of Sweet Water, Georgia, might be the woman he wants to make a home with until he learns why she came to Sweet Water in the first place. How the small-town regulars help them get together makes a charming conclusion to an otherwise what-will-he-do-when-he-learns-the-truth standard plot.
