“As I get better at bottoming, I find myself cruising for hung guys but I’m worried that I’m going to stretch myself permanently and do real damage. Will I end up wearing Depends if I keep banging big guys?”

“My d*ck goes soft when a guy tops me. Is that normal? Why do I lose my erection when it feels so good?”

“Does bottoming cause hemorrhoids?”

“Can you bottom if you’ve had hemorrhoids?”

“How can I change my identity as a gay bottom to being more versatile?”

“I’m a total gay bottom but I give off the impression that I’m a top, so everybody that goes home with me expects me to top them. How can I give off bottom energy to attract tops?”

“I want my sphincter in porn-quality shape—the pinkest pink possible. Is anal bleaching safe?”

“Is it true that bottoming causes anal cancer?”

“My partner usually orgasms before I do but I want him inside me until I come. Is it safe for him to stay inside me with his semen in the condom?”

“My rectum sometimes produces a clear fluid when I insert a finger or toy in it. What is it?”

“I’m in love with a guy but we’re both gay bottoms and he refuses to be in a relationship with another bottom. How do I get in touch with my inner top?”

Editorial Reviews

William Arnett, Editor, Gay Dating Success
A must for anybody who wants to bottom but hasn't been able to.

The good:

1) The advice works--it's a clear, step-by-step achievable action plan
2) It's short. I didn't want a "complete guide" to anal health--I just wanted to bottom without pain.
3) It's hysterical. I found myself laughing out loud even as I was taking notes.

The Bad:

1) No diagrams. They would have helped.
2) No talk of HIV, though there is a section on condoms

Terrific advice but could use more medical explanations

I actually bought this book for my boyfriend because after a year together we still hadn't done the deed because he couldn't (or rather wouldn't). I'm rather endowed so it made it doubly difficult. If this book could get my bigness in his smallness without pain, I have no doubt it'll work for anyone. There was no miracle involved--the book outlines an easy to follow desensitizing strategy. It's intelligently written and the big bonus is the humor. It is quite literally, a laugh out loud read. I agree with the other reviewer that you'd never know how funny the book is by looking at the write-up (though the title hints at it).

I do have one complaint though. It doesn't go into physiology as much as I'd like. Even a few illustrations of the anatomy down there would've helped. I feel churlish for "penalizing" the rev

If You're Looking For A Complete Guide, This Ain't It

This book is about one thing and one thing only--how to bottom without feeling like you're being torn to shreds. On that score I give the book an A+.

There are some really interesting tricks I hadn't heard, read or experienced before. Still, I can't help but feel a little cheated by the book because

    a) It's for the total novice---there's nothing for the intermediate or advanced player,

    b) while funny--sometimes hysterically so--I thought the humor distracted from important information, and c) the section on butt plugs and dildos was unconscionably weak.

Short, Funny & Straight To The Point

I've always wanted to bottom but sticking so much as a finger up there sent me into convulsions of pain, so you can imagine my relief when the book asked me to mentally sign a "No Pain Contract" contract with myself. It took me about two weeks to get my butt in shape (literally) but I can report that it totally worked--I bottomed for the first time a couple of days ago without a hint of pain or a whiff of...well, you get the point.

I was surprised how funny the book was--felt like I was reading Dan Savage's younger brother. On the minus side, some diagrams or illustrations would have gone a long way. It's unusually short (60 something pages) but after the first wave of disappointment in its length, I realized that's probably why it was such a tremendous help to me--because it's there to answer only one question--how to bottom without pain.

5 stars An A+ For The Info, B- for the lack of diagrams,

The advice in this book was spot on. I am now bottoming, just as the title promises, without pain or stains (!). Hello? Who came up with that line? LOL. Seriously, I tried EVERYTHING (big ones, small ones, being drunk, not being drunk, etc.) and nothing worked. It always hurt waaaaay too much. But now, I take it like a champ and finally figured out why so many guys like to bottom. There's no question this book delivers on its promise (if it worked for a tight *ss like mine, it'll work for yours). HOWEVER. There's one major flaw in the book--no diagrams or illustrations. It just would have made the book so much better...
