Good game if they get the colors more distinctive.

The graphics are pretty, the game seems well-executed, and the concept is an interesting one--it turns out to be basically a language-free word search. Unfortunately, I found it deathly dull (and perhaps shouldn't be surprised because I also find word searches boring). The mechanics are simple: the player is presented with a sequence of colors, and must find the same color sequence in a straight line somewhere in the grid. If the player takes more than a few seconds, one of the hexes in the sequence twinkles as a "hint." This might be a good game for kids or people who like word-search puzzles. Personally, I'm archiving it, and am glad it was only 99 cents plus tax.

I'm constantly looking for games to play when I'm standing in line at the store, doing laundry or waiting for a plane. Unfortunately, I almost missed my connecting flight because I was focused so intently on this particular game! So, beware: this game can totally absorb you.
I do, however, agree that the colors could be tweaked a bit in order to make distinguishing between red and orange a bit easier. But, it's not that big of deal just the way it is now.
I'm addicted to this game.

Quality game for all ages. I, too, have trouble telling the red from the orange. It slows me down, which affects my ability to score before time runs out. But, it is a good challenge and fun, love the colorful graphics. I recommend it.

I really like this game. My Autistic son finds this game very addictive. This game is differently worth getting for anyone who has a child with Autism. Differently worth the $.99 and the 5 Star Rating.

Never did figure out what was supposed to happen. A demo would have been helpful. So many typos in the obscure directions that it gives impression that this was not thoughtfully prepared

My son loves this game. The background colors and sound do not bother him. He has a little difficulty with the colors looking so alike in the gems to find area. This game helps him focus on one thing for a period of time.

I find it very fun, difficult, and rewarding. It's different from other puzzle games that I have played. I like the fact that it's colorful. Some people might have problems with that, but I don't. I like that the developer mention "Gem Match EX is presented as an experiment on synesthesia, integrating sound, vision and touch in one seamless experience." To me it shows. It's refreshing to see a developer exploring Synesthesia. Also it looks like the developer might be looking at people who's on the Autism Spectrum. Which is also refreshing. I Highly Recommend trying it out. I give it 5 stars out of 5.

Fun, challenging and addictive. I have a hard time putting this game down. It even comes with away for the color-blinded to play. Cannot beat the price for hours of entertainment.
