I hesitated on buying this book because there was no picture of the cover of the book but I am so glad I bought it. It is a great book full of maps on how to get to these places, where and when to start looking, how to find the gems and how to tell if you have one. On the many hikes I've taken, mica in granite has to be my favorite and its every where. The energy and power in these rocks uplift you in a time when you need it the most. A pebble isnt a pebble till you put it through a polisher. You'll be amazed at what it turns into and whats on our beaches that are trampled on. Pay attention to nature - dont take advantage of it. Love every step you take and dont be in a hurry. Take your time.
